Why Fashion magazine? 

Fashion is a popular style, especially in clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, nail, hairstyle and body. Fashion is a distinctive and often constant trend in the style in which people present themselves. I personally have a lot of interest in fashion especially the on going nail fashion and trends.

What a fashion magazine comprises of? 

It disseminate fashion news, styles, and trends to the reader.

Fashion magazines are usually focused on the latest trends of the season and are trying to present them in a creative way

Tips and tricks is another section, where you can find suggestions on how to look better and what products to use

Articles about influential people in the fashion industry, or interviews with celebrities from which you can be inspired

The fashion magazine design is structured in a way so that all the information will make the reader interested in the subject. 

Final Product

 Cover page:

I wanted to keep my magazine cover page simple yet appealing. I messed around with different tools in photoshop and created this cover page. 

I embebed my picture on a plain white background page and then edited the image according to my desire by using the image adjustment options. I also used the shape tool to add circle so it can add more elements on the page. I used different fonts and colours on the page so the cover page does not look very simple. To make my text more visible I used drop shadow, color overlay, inner glow options. I also downloaded the PNG format of the school logo and barcode and added them on my page

Content page:

For the content page i tried to match the colour scheme of the cover page and use the same fonts. I added pictures in shapes such as circles and also used the image adjustment options to edited the images I used. I redused the opacity of the images slightly to the images dont look to harsh on the page.

I first made a rough draft of what i wanted my cover page to look like at photoshop. By making this draft my vision got more clearer of what i wanted my magazine cover page to look like.

Fonts

I tried and used many different fonts for both my cover and content page. The fonts that i used are listed below

I didnt use one single font for my cover and content page as it seemed very plain so to change things a bit I used multiple fonts for both pages.

Shots and Angles

 Long shot: 

A shot taken from a considerable distance so that the object or figure is completely visible 

Mid shot:

In some standard texts and professional references, a full-length view of a object or figure is called a medium shot. So it is a shot of the person from the knees up or the waist up. In other texts, these partial views are called medium shots. In principal, the medium shot is what can be seen with the human eye in a single quick glance and convey all the action taking place in that field of view.

Wide shot/full length shot:

A wide shot is a shot that typically shows the entire object or human figure and is usually intended to place it in some relation to its surrounding
